How It Played Out

We played on the Basic AST with 8 players. At the end it was only the two new players — Carla (Parthia) and William (Saba) — who made it to the Late Iron Age, but Kushan took home the win!

A few notable moments:

• Indus (Kasia) took an early Fundamentalism and then bought Regression not once, but twice — forced back on the AST a total of 4 spaces.
• Maurya (Rob M.) took Philosophy to counter Fundamentalism, was claiming Dravidian lands after a devastating flood, only to be hit by Civil War — reduced to 0 cities and 12 units, with Dravidia jumping to 8 cities. Two turns later Tyranny hit Dravidia and gave Maurya their lands back.
