The civilizations have been counted and the AST positions tallied — here are the final results from our inaugural game at the UoT Table Top Gaming Club.

How It Played Out

Our inaugural game hosted by the UoT Table Top Gaming Club was an outstanding success! The venue was great — a huge table, great lighting, and a quiet environment for us to yell trade deals at each other.

A few notable moments:

• Rome (Wai W.) was a calamity magnet, getting hit with 6 or more calamities not once but twice in the game. The 1-2 punch of Civil War and Tyranny ended the Roman Empire and brought Iberia to the fore.
• The game featured a lot of empires sustaining 8 and 9 cities for multiple turns — an unusually city-heavy affair.
